I think the best thing to come out of the Techcrunch 50 so far is atmosphir. Basically, atmosphir allows you to create your own levels in 3D video game. Think Mario series here. So, it would be like creating your own levels of a 3D Mario game. Up until now, as far as I know, video game content has been static. With atmosphir, this all changes. I can think of a gaming community based around atmosphir that challenges there peers to beet the newest, craziest level that was just created a few hours ago. I can see the same people bragging about how they just beat so and so's level in 5 minutes flat. Very interesting concept.
Here's a demo of the technology below.

I think all the Unreal, Neverwinter Nights, Myth, Avara, and many other games would disagree with you on the static content comment. Games with editors have been around a long time.
Or is there something different here that I'm missing?
Well, I should have been more specific. What I meant to say is that for single player games, the content is static. Alternate/Virtual world games where users inhabit a shared virtual space have for a while had content editors.
I would also like to point out that the game is free and available on the web. I haven't seen any other game platform be available on the web for free that can easily create and publish content.
